May we never lose our wonder
wide eyed and mystified
may we be just like a child
staring at the beauty of our King.
- Steffany Gretzinger
Hi friend,
We’re probably a lot alike. Women, moms, maybe with a gaggle of kids behind us. We’ve set that alarm clock for 5am more times than we can count, each time hoping this will be the morning it clicks. The day we finally feel caught up, put together, purposeful.
I’m Joanne, a homeschooling mom of four, married almost a decade to a man who makes life better, and walking the sometimes-blurry line between working from home and being fully present at home. I love God and couldn’t imagine life without my local church. I love pretty things and a good deal. I’ll throw a taco night for friends but need 3 homebody weeks to recover. I tweak the budget way more often than I should, I am daily tested in patience, I fold laundry (or ignore it) every other day, and pray that somehow, in all this chaos, I’m raising wholehearted, healthy humans.
But lately, I’ve been doing something new. Slower. Quieter. More intentional.
I’ve been turning down the noise of the world and turning toward what matters most: faith, home, motherhood, and wholeness. I believe revival doesn’t always look like a stadium, or a social media campaign, it often looks like a dinner table, a bedtime prayer, choosing peace over performance.
This space is part of The Quiet Revival. An invitation to grow, reflect, and settle into the sacred work of home. It’s where I share the lessons, the stumbles, the prayers, and the small wins. I hope something here sparks something in you to breathe deeper, trust God more fully, and remember that you’re not alone.
Here’s where we change the world. Quietly. Faithfully. From home.
Welcome to my community.
